I just bought this to replace my old 20gig model and so far I'm happy. An HDMI output is truly welcome and the 250GB drive is wonderful. WiFi is also a great addition.

Unfortunately I had to replace the first one they sent me immediately since the disc drive didn't work. I received the Xbox in Amazon packaging that was too small and didn't allow any protection for the item at all. All that was in there was 2 little packing bubbles that only prevented it from moving side to side (it didn't do anything for moving up and down. There was a punctured hole in box the Amazon and 360 box that I attribute to the non-working Xbox.

After sending it back and getting my replacement, I found it was shipping to me in the exact same sized box with NO packing materials in it at all. The 360 box was free to bang around inside the Amazon box completely unhindered with no padding or protection whatsoever. As evidence of having no protection, the corner of the 360 box was smashed in. To my complete and utter surprise the console still worked properly.

While I love the product, I can't recommend that you buy it from Amazon. Their packing practices are a joke and it's more likely than not that your delicate electronics won't survive the trip.

This XBox has raised my level of media enjoyment. All of my connections are seemlessly managed via XBox 360. Superb video quality. Netflix streaming have amazing quality. With HD games, the games looks unreal (or too real)! (Go for wireless game controllers). I love and highly recommend it. Can't wait for Kinect!!!

I love it, what can I tell you? This is a great deal for an Xbox 360! It beats the PS3 Slim which I purchased with this 360.

We just bought this because we're going to get the kenetics package when it's released. We have a playstation 3 and wanted to try the Xbox 360. We love it much better. The new xbox is so quite and nice to look at. Touch controls work great and we need easy at 61 years old,lol. We watch netflix on it everyday. Nice job Microsoft. Can't wait for the Kenetics, we need to move more now that we're retired.

Remarkedly quieter than my relatively quiet pro ~

Does bcome toasty towards the bottom ~
recommend purchasing a slim, heat tank, stand~
I did :-)
& mayb some white labels for the panel covers & buttons ~
a flaw w/ this unit ~ sync/power bottons & USB cover blend 2 well :-(
& I loathe the slim's mirror-like, xbox botton ~ :-(
~ not my thing ~

Touch sensitivty (ejection/power) is a great addition ~
esp. w/ the neat chime touch ~

Overall ~ it did it's job ~ silence please ~
