Question #1:
How can commercial jet airplanes fly in outer space?
I once saw a movie where a commercial jet plane was flying in outer space (maybe 100-200 miles above ground) due to something going wrong in flight. How is it possible for jets to fly that high?Question #2:
If you had the money, would you want to purchase a seat on a space shuttle flight and voyage into outer space?
Question #3:
What do dreams of frequent flight mean?
For the last 6 mos or so I have been having recurring dreams of flight. Just to give some details, usually I am able to fry fly, no wings, at will and as high as I want even to where the atmosphere meets space, although have never dreamt of flying in or thu outer space. Some times its easy and I can fly fast and move uninhibited but also, at times its difficult, or I fly too slow. there are time where I am aware I'm dreaming and know I am able to fly so it makes the dream all the more real. I've always though it would be cool to fly like that, but maybe has a deeper meaning? Thank you!Question #4:
Do NASA nurses go to outer space with astronauts or do they only tend to them just before and after flights?
Question #5:
Something about creation...care to c/c?
This is my interpretation of the Secret Doctrine. My apologies to Madame HPB-ybp
(1)Before all else, nothing and anything did not exist
No cobalt skies and stars above nor hellish fire and mist.
What kept the firmament within the bounds of boundless sea?
What meant not death nor time and space nor life nor he nor she?
An entirety shrouded in gloom and murk that sought no light
Nature in slumber deep in the husk covered seed of night.
(2)But who is the Perceiver? Who is He that is perceived?
And who is the one Seer who knows and is not deceived?
The One before diverse and multiple creation sprang?
He who gazed into the eyes of eternity and sang
About where the foundations of this universe are laid,
And thus beheld the ripeness as the ancients have portrayed?
(3)It was the I AM, the most High Priest, whose evidence
Of higher I AMs brings to light the full adolescence
Of the continual Returnee, then, now, ever shall be
The One destined to be the underling of change and the
Slave of time and of space until dies out the burning lamp,
When the soldier at last weary retreats back to his camp.
(4)In cognizant sleep, unveiling the shrouded inner Self,
Bestowing it with purpose, guiding it to his true self.
Not knowing its necessity, it sleeps in boundless flight;
The influence of purpose heaving past his stunted sight.
Unconsciousness afloat in the in-breath of creation
And dissolving thus into the out-breath of destruction.
(5)In every expression, visible or invisible,
The continual pilgrimage of inner good and evil,
Being and non-being, unconscious and omnipresent,
The unseen Father, Son in flesh, Holy Ghost in ascent,
Shall rule as one without decree with verdicts just and fair ,
And who will lend deaf ears to all petitions and prayers.
(6)Who built the flesh? Who caused the breaking of the dawn of days
To whom the universe entire kneels low and then obeys?
Who, rested in unconscious bliss, formed from non-form to form,
Soundless sleep save for perennial breath remains untransformed,
Unaltered by the outer world, in sleep dispassionate,
Waiting for the shedding off, restlessness to tolerate.
(7)Germination yet not launched, conception yet to commence,
Eve as mother but Adam fathered not nor in pretence
Compelled her womb to distend as the unborn aspect hides
In Mother Eve’s divine bosom vibrating side to side
To cause impassive Being to augment and to expand
Within the uterine darkness of Adam’s perfect land.
(8)The sparks of night shoot forth like blazing sunwebs that disperse
Darkness within the vibrant seed that bears the universe
In soul and core dividing two to three and three to four
And falls into its mother’s lap who cradles it before
An iron shrine and numinous force of its commandments,
Allowing it to suck the curd from the full breasts of lament.
(9)The radiant child of glory born to liberate all men
Will have his roots throughout the depths of mind and then again,
Shall banish darkness and its essence wind and fire and earth
Into the depths of the ocean of immortal rebirth
Where lies the limits of earthly and measurable space,
Arising as the Son extending purity and grace.
(10)Living breathing pulsating spirit of Evolving Light
The dark essence in the flickering candle flame of night
Fastening itself to the two like buttons sewn to coat
Infusing firmly into each the yearning to devote
To guarantee evolution and final emergence
Of the emergent Soul’s earthly structure and divergence.
(11)To become its vehicle through harshest terrains and climes
Infusing emotions, mind as well as space, thought and time.
A Trinity arises thus within the conscious Soul:
The vehicle of flesh and Mind and of a person whole.
The first Seer, the now conscious Son, the Holy Child rides
Garmented outside but standing naked in the inside.
(12)His first step shook the galaxies, and every star did stoop
His hollow footprint made its mark upon the muddied soup.
A restless brilliance surrounded him and worlds were overcome
To behold the immortal Son and they must all succumb.
Alas! Arrives the second Death with cross and crown and pain
To rob him of his memory and slash him in the vein.
(13)Yet holy breath perseveres with unconscious dreamless sleep
Keeping innate fire ablaze that the hungry Son may reap,
The desire to return to Mother’s bosom rings intense
Until the sleeping Lord, the prince, releases all pretence
To merge with and thus reflect his thirsting effulgent self
Embracing all infinitude – the little self and Self.
Question #6:
Do you think there will ever be commercial flights to the moon?
I know it probably won't be. At least for many, many years. Probably long after I'm gone, but I've always wanted to go to space. Sometimes when I'm staring up at the stars I'll just say to myself, "I really want to go up there." I think it's amazing, but I know I'll never be an astronaut. I don't nearly have half the brains for the job. So do you think there would ever be flights to outer space for people who would love to go, but maybe aren't bright enough or just don't want to be an astronaut?Thanks!
Question #7:
I made a revelation, would you please tell me what you think of it?
I'd like to share a revelation I've had. It came to me when I was trying to classify our species, or rather, our time period. I then discovered that our time period is the best time period to live in, let alone be born in. I'd like for everyone (who is a teenager; and preferably in America, Canada, or another first world country) to take a moment to reflect on how lucky you are that you were born in the best time period ever. We exist in the 1990s and 21st century, and we have so much that our predecessors haven't. We truly were born and are living in the best time frame ever.Let's just look at a few things we have, shall we? We have instant global communication, we have space flight, television, computers, the ability to be anyone you want to be, security, safety, video games, long life spans, top level medical care, the Internet, Facebook, the Internet, movies. Chances are, most (if not all) of us will leave to see three centuries (20th century, 21st century, and possibly even the beginning of the 22nd century), we have practically all of the information in the world at our fingertips, we've landed on the Moon, we have world peace (relatively), we have freedom, we have democracy, we have liberty, we defeated communism and the Soviet Union, we have discovered nuclear power/weapons, we have broken the speed of sound, and recently broken the speed of light (true story), we have a nearly unlimited database of music at our finger tips (just go on YouTube and search for almost any song), we can share our thoughts/videos/pictures/files with anyone else in the world nearly instantly, we are the only remaining super-power in the world (well, technical of the United States is beyond a super-power now, it's a hyper-power), we have top-notch free education, we have the ability to have the conversation that we are having right now, and so much more.
Yet, that's not all we have so much more ahead of us, and the best part is, we will still be (relatively) young when more good stuff comes. We will colonize Mars (scheduled to happen in the year 2020), we will colonize the Moon, we will (probably/hopefully) make first contact, develop artificial intelligence, colonize the outer solar system, and so much more. So, let's just take a moment or two to be grateful that we have all this, and that we were born and experienced the best time in the entire universe. Thank you all for your time, patience, and listening to my revelation.
P.S.
I've actually known this for some time now, but I never really shared it with anyone.
Question #8:
What do you think this passage means?
Hi all!Sorry folks, but this question is geared mainly to Christians of any denomination. In the New Testament, the Book of Hebrews to be exact, Chapter 11, Verse 34 tells us something very peculiar indeed:"...and turned to flight the armies of the aliens."
The strange thing about this is that it does not describe to us anything about these 'aliens'. Now, I was wondering what this could mean. Do you think they could be actual aliens from outer space? Or does the word, in this case, mean aliens as in foreigners. The word 'alien' has two meanings.
1. Little green men with antennas who live on Mars or some distant planet who supposedly boast advanced technology far more so than ours.
2. Foreigners or someone or something (an animal or plant, etc.) not of your village, town, city, country, state, etc.
So what does this mean? I believe in the Bible as a whole and most of the Good Book, but what should I believe about this verse? It's very puzzling for me as I don't think aliens exist. But this verse seems to point out that they do or did. Could it be that an alien space ship crash-landed on Earth and gave birth to the infamous Nephilim who were the cause of the Flood? Or, it could simply be talking about foreigners like the Philistines and Canaanites and suchlike. Thanks in advance for whatever answer you are able to give!!
Question #9:
Do you think the ETs. will let us fly their extraterrestrial spacecraft?
If there's a huge extraterrestrial spacecraft from outer space, will the ET.S let me have it and will they let me fly it like in the movie, "Flight of the Navigator?"Question #10:
What is the farthest distance a human being has ever traveled/drifted into space?
.And, by a human being I mean a living, breathing person, or at the very least a lifeless body, that started as a living breathing person in space (e.g. Moon walking/orbiting Astronauts; Astronauts or Cosmonauts lost in, and now drifting in, space during space walks, if any; etc.)
BTW, the following groups are automatically and categorically disqualified:
Human hair, skin cells/flakes, biological traces left behind in deep space probes;
Human remains, ashes, DNA material, etc., commercially or otherwise sent to, or to be deposited in space;
Present and/or future commercial space burials;
[Tiny] Dick M. F. Cheney in any shape or form (dead or alive), EVER;
So-called Human Spirits and/or other religious residues [flying Saints, etc.];
UFO abductees (nice try, but no cigar, lol);
Electromagnetic (TV, Radio, Laser, Microwave, etc.) transmissions into outer space, Optical & Radio Astronomy, Hubble images, and future space commercials included;
Other primates/apes/monkeys, pigs, frogs, mice, or what-have-you's lost in space;
Any half-human Fundie-imaginary space Monster (e.g. Jesus descending upon us from the 7th sky, on a white horse, etc.);
Any space cadet (W included);
Any and all human bodily fluids (piss, sperm, eggs, tampons used during menstrual-cycles, etc.) actively or accidentally tossed into space;
Any ET-Human half-breeds adopted by or transported to an alien planet;
Any Flying Pink Floyd Pigs, etc.;
Curious spatial sightings of Elvis;
Ali Baba on a flying Magic carpet;
Superman rearranging the planets in our solar system, because his main-squeeze dumped him;
Any form of outer space flying spaghetti (although that one may partly qualify, under certain sanctimonious circumstances);
Imaginary and/or psychedelic flights of fancy around The Universe;
Yamster-assisted flights into outer space;
Well, you get the picture!

Question #11:
Math Help using Word Problem?
Space TalkIn the outer reaches of space, there are eleven relay stations for the Transgalactic Travel Company. There are space shuttle routes between relay stations as shown on the map. Eleven astronauts have been selected as communication operators, one for each station. They are; Andy, Barb, Cindy, Dave, Earl, Fran, Grace, Hal, Irene, Joy and Ken. Two people with connecting routes will be talking to each other a great deal to discuss space shuttle flights from station to station. It is helpful if these people are friendly with each other. During their training the supervisors observed that the following pairs of astronauts were friends:
Andy - BarbHal - FranIrene - Ken
Grace - JoyGrace - IreneDave - Earl
Dave - IreneAndy - GraceKen - Earl

Find my flaws and fix em....please?
I need unbiased editing on this....where do you stumble...or twist ot whatever? thank youThere's a poet with a power in his mind that bleeds out ink
With a melody of magic in his rhyme that makes me think
I'm a child with saucer eyes and I've discovered wonderland
Every power ever dreamed is stored within my magic pen
I can offer words of wisdom with the witty ink I spill
Or receive a hand of guidance any time I dip my quill
I'm a clumsey ballerina but when spinning I am grace
keyboard keyed to flight of fancy and I soar to outer space
With my eagle eye I scan and spot a soul about to die
Now I'm Florence Nightingale with pen I poem a will to try
A Diva, I'm a sinner, I'm a keyboard dream - scheme spinner
A druggy on a downer, I am the drug the hype the winner
Winter waits for me to pen it, I'm what ever way I send it
I've got power in my pencil, I'm the jury, judge, defendent
I'm a woman with a keyboard and the world is open wide
I'm every person living, I'm my pen - the ink inside
Though I leave this poem un-ended, I still have more ink to spill
If I haven't dreamed or tried it yet, some day I surely will

oh wow,,..ok excellent ideas and suggestions here. A lot of poem play to see what works. thank you guys. will post the final when it's done. =)
Question #13:
Why do other cultures try and take credit for European invention/discoveries?
The Chinese try claim to be the first ones to reach outer space....with a couple of tiny rockets attached to a chair with 1 person sitting on it..I mean cmon. Myth busters proved that it was impossible even with the latest technology. Then you got Arabs claiming they invented the first air plane because archeologists found a sculpture that "resembles" a plane but scientist tested a replica of it to see if it would fly and surprise, it didn't take flight. Every1 knows Leonardo Divinci drew the first airplane and the write bros made it a reality.The fact is that Europeans have discovered and invented almost every profound and significant invention in the world. I'm talking about the big ones that have a huge impact on human society. The inventions that have allow our species to thrive. For example: the combustible engine, the airplane, telephone, the discovery of electricity and how to harness and use it to make moving parts, the computer, the a-bomb (which even though it was built for destroying can also save us someday), the rocket ship and space shuttle, the telescope and countless universe discoveries (this will eventually lead to people some day populating the moon or mars so if something apocalyptic were to happen to earth like another mass extinction, which will inevitably happen to earth, there will be survivors. We can't have all our eggs in one basket. You can thank the Europeans for that too, if your still around.
Question #14:
HELP! Assignment on flight?

Question #15:
Could you accidentally send your baby though an x ray machine?
A woman going through security at Los Angeles International Airport put her month-old grandson into a plastic bin intended for carry-on items and slid it into an X-ray machine.The early Saturday accident — bizarre but not unprecedented — caught airport workers by surprise, even though the security line was not busy at the time, officials said.
A screener watching the machine's monitor immediately noticed the outline of a baby and pulled the bin backward on the conveyor belt.
The infant was taken to Centinela Hospital, where doctors determined that he had not received a dangerous dose of radiation.
Officials, who declined to release the 56-year-old woman's name, said she spoke Spanish and apparently did not understand English.
She initially didn't want the baby transported to a hospital, but security officials called paramedics and insisted that the child be examined by a doctor.
The grandmother and the child were subsequently allowed to board an Alaska Airlines flight to Mexico City.
The rare incident drew attention to whether officials are staffing often-busy security checkpoints enough to prevent such an accident. And it raised questions about the danger of X-rays used to pick out suspicious metal shapes in passenger bags, given the medical community's warnings that even low amounts of radiation can build up over a lifetime.
"Rather than focus on the radiation dose, which is a small amount, we need to focus on why this happened, so it doesn't happen again," said Dr. James Borgstede, a diagnostic radiologist at Penrose-St. Francis Health Systems in Colorado Springs, Colo., and president of the American College of Radiology. "Human beings weren't meant to go through those things."
In the several seconds the baby spent in the machine, the doctor added, he was exposed to as much radiation as he would naturally get from cosmic rays — or high energy from outer space — in a day.
Security experts said the incident underscored a more widespread concern about the screening process at LAX and other airports.
"The screeners are still reporting that they're being pushed," said Brian Sullivan, a retired Federal Aviation Administration security agent. "If a baby can get through, what the hell else can get through?"
Nico Melendez, a spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration, which manages LAX screeners, said the agency doesn't have enough workers to constantly stand at tables in front of the screeners to coach passengers on what should or should not be sent through X-ray machines.
But in some cases, airlines contract with private companies to staff the tables and assist travelers. The TSA will also occasionally put employees at the tables if extra workers are available.
TSA screeners often ask passengers to put their coats, shoes, laptops and other items into the bins, Melendez said. But they cannot observe everything people place there, because they must monitor screening equipment, he added.
Still, he said that the TSA works hard to educate passengers about what carry-on objects require screening and that travelers must take responsibility for knowing these rules.
"There's an obligation on the traveler to use some common sense," said Larry Fetters, the TSA's federal security director at LAX. "If they don't understand, they should ask somebody. If they ask us, we are generally able to find someone who speaks that language and assist them."
On its website, the TSA posts extensive tips for travelers, including a section titled "Traveling With Children."
One item reads: "Never leave babies in an infant carrier while it goes through the X-ray machine."
There are also signs posted in English and Spanish at ticket counters and near security checkpoints warning passengers that they must put metal objects, such as cellphones, pagers and car keys, into bins that go through X-ray machines.

QUESTION FOR CHRISTIANS ONLY.?
What exactly will happen on Judgement Day?It says in the Bible that there will be a resurrection of the dead and that all people will have to account for their lives. Do you take this literally? How is Jesus going to speak to billions and billions of people during a single day, in different time zones? What about people who are too young / old / sick to talk, or who are in mid-flight or in outer space, etc``?

Question #19:
WHAT'S UP to move us to outer space after rockets and shuttles leave the scene?
The original rockets used by Soviets and US caused space junk due to non re-usable parts. They could not fly long due tothe limited heavy fuel exhaustion, and hence slow speeds of 40,000 m/sec., and we have not set foot on Mars. The space
shuttle is useful, but risky, and has almost the same problems, though it did teach us to land a craft without fuel from
outer space to Earth. After phasing out the shuttles, the Italian Space emergency craft would still be functional to serve
the International Space Station. So, now that the rockets have zoomed away and shuttles have scuttled away, what should the
Space Agency do so that Space government is sensible.
EJECTING a missile at 11,000 m/sec via a vertical solenoid frees it of Earth's gravity. Small payloads can be ejected into
Space this way, and recollected at the International Space Station and reassembled to make Antigravity Crafts to reach
speeds of 400,000 meters per second. these crafts can be used to observe the Sun constantly and send pictures to Earth so that
Solar Flares may be predicted, after which stay in the Space Station and Space Travel will be safer. It also means very few
manned flights to the Space Stations, (NO MORE EXPERIMENTS OR THRILLS, OR BUSINESS TRAVEL), and so no space junk. Return flights
need no fuel basically and crafts can be assembled in Space. I think this is the outline for future space, and make no Red Giants,
out of Russia, America, or China (should they find smaller countries filling the outer atmosphere with Space Junk).
Question #20:
Should be working on creating a society where we just no longer need a police force?
In between the time we spend on wars defense covert actions and lines in the sand ..... should we ask ourselves what are the root causes of crime and poverty ?If occasionally we asked ourselves ..... why would some one do that and how can we stop them from killing each other and stealing each others s---t ?
We are now entering the 21st century ---- nano technology flights to outer space laser surgeries and cloned sheep ..... but the ancient problems of even the Byzantine Empire of poverty crime and war are still here as strong as ever if not far far worse
Should be working on creating a society where we just no longer need a police force
Or really did we just give up on the topic ? Problem can't be solved and that's that ? We the people will always rely on an internal armed force to battle a portion of the population just to keep us safe ? Should I just accept that ? Should you ?
