The bottom line is finding a job (AFSC) that you will enjoy doing for at least four years (minimum Active Duty enlistment contract length) / The ASVAB test (see link) helps determine an individuals strong areas down to the weaker areas to help see what you are qualified to do.

The jobs from Electrical Power Pro to Fire Protection all fall under the Civil Engineering Organization which is a highly respected organization on an Air Force Installation because they maintain all of the facilities and utility systems on the base.
