Question: Constelation Project is canceled?

its not a loss to humanity, we will live on like we always have.

No its not dead yet, but its not included in the Presidents PROPOSED budget. Until it becomes approved, Constellation is still on the books. But the odds of it being rescued at this point are quite slim.

The Constellation program is on hiatus, pending congressional approval of the proposed budget. Personally, while the lander side of the project has some great ideas, the Ares heavy lift launch vehicle had some potentially serious design flaws.
